I was already a classic movie fan before I read this book, but it took my obsession to an entirely new level. The book is chock-full of wonderful anecdotes, fascinating memories of the studio system, and amusing encounters with some of the biggest stars of all time. It remains my favorite autobiography and most often-referenced tome.
